Space Age & Astronauts Bingo

A ready-made space age & astronauts bingo game: this page shows all 24 words on the cards, explains the rules, and links straight to the card maker for a printable 5×5 set with a FREE centre square.

About this bingo theme

From the first beeping satellite to the first footsteps on the Moon, the space age gave ordinary families a front-row seat to something extraordinary. This bingo theme gathers the missions, machines and vocabulary of that era.

Every printed set draws twenty-four of the thirty words in the collection and lays them out differently on each card around the FREE centre square. Print a set, read from the caller list, and let the countdowns and mission names do their work.

Make and print cards

  • Open the bingo card maker and choose Space Age & Astronauts from the theme list.
  • Generate 1, 2, 4 or 6 cards — every card uses a different random layout.
  • Press Word caller list to read and tick the words off as you call.
  • Cards print in clean black ink; choose Save as PDF to keep a copy.

How to play bingo

  • Each player takes a card — the same words appear in a different place on every card.
  • One person reads words from the caller list, one at a time.
  • Players mark any word they have. The middle square is FREE.
  • First to mark a full line — across, down or diagonal — calls “Bingo!” For a longer game, play for a full house.

Hints for running this theme

  • Ask where everyone was when the Moon landing was shown on television.
  • Count down "three, two, one" before the first call to set the mood.
  • Read the mission names clearly — they are the heart of this word list.
  • Print six cards for a group and play one line, then a full house.
  • No timer and no entry fee — bingo suits any group and any pace.
