The 1960s Bingo

A ready-made the 1960s bingo game: this page shows all 24 words on the cards, explains the rules, and links straight to the card maker for a printable 5×5 set with a FREE centre square.

About this bingo theme

The 1960s packed a remarkable amount of history into ten years — the space race, a new music scene, changing fashion and television that was suddenly in colour. This bingo theme turns the words of that decade into a ready-made game for a group afternoon.

Every card is a five-by-five grid with the same twenty-four words in a different arrangement and a FREE centre square, so up to six players can play one round. Print the cards, open the word caller list, and let the conversation do the rest.

Make and print cards

  • Open the bingo card maker and choose The 1960s from the theme list.
  • Generate 1, 2, 4 or 6 cards — every card uses a different random layout.
  • Press Word caller list to read and tick the words off as you call.
  • Cards print in clean black ink; choose Save as PDF to keep a copy.

How to play bingo

  • Each player takes a card — the same words appear in a different place on every card.
  • One person reads words from the caller list, one at a time.
  • Players mark any word they have. The middle square is FREE.
  • First to mark a full line — across, down or diagonal — calls “Bingo!” For a longer game, play for a full house.

Hints for running this theme

  • A table of four works well with a 4-card set printed on one sheet.
  • Read the caller list slowly and repeat each word twice.
  • Let players swap cards between rounds so everyone gets a fresh layout.
  • No timer and no entry fee — bingo suits any group and any pace.
