Nostalgia Trivia
Rounds of questions about the music, television, movies and everyday objects of the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Filter by era and topic, answer with four choices, and finish with a printable quiz sheet — questions on one page, answer key on the next. Free, no sign-up.
How it works
- Choose an era — the 1960s, 70s, 80s, or Mixed for all of them.
- Choose a topic — music, television, movies or everyday objects — or leave it on Everything.
- Each round has 10 questions at a time, always with four choices.
- Every answer comes with a short explanation and a “Did you know” line.
- Finish a round and print it as a quiz sheet — questions first, answer key overleaf.
Ideas for using trivia
- Group quizzes: print one sheet per table and read the questions aloud.
- On this day: a dated entry from the archive greets you at the top of the page.
- Gentle pace: no timer — go at whatever speed suits the room.
- Family game day: the sheet has a name and score line, and a separate answer page.
Frequently asked questions
What decades does the trivia cover?
Rounds are organised by era: the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, with a Mixed setting that draws on all of them. Questions cover music, television, movies and everyday objects, and you can filter by either one.
How does a round work?
Choose an era and a topic, then press Start a round. You get 10 questions with four choices each. Pick your answer and you instantly learn if you are right, with a short explanation and a “Did you know” line.
Can I print a trivia sheet?
Yes. After a round, press Print this round. The questions print on the first page with a name and score line, and the answer key — with the “Did you know” lines — prints on the second page. There is also a blank quiz sheet option if you would rather not have the answers at all.
What is the “On this day” section?
It is a dated entry from the archive, shown at the top of the page. On dates we have an entry for, you get that day's event; otherwise the page says so and shows one from the archive instead. It always comes with a question on the same moment.
Do I need an account?
No. Trivia is free and needs no account. Scores stay on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
